NAPA Auto Parts to help collect donations for the Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund in July

Beamon and Johnson is proud to combine efforts with NAPA Auto Parts and the Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund.  During the month of July, our stores will be collecting donations, with all proceeds going directly to the Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund.  Customers will be able to purchase a Star for 1 dollar, and we will post it in the store. They may write the name a chosen Fallen Hero to honor, or their family name in honor of all Fallen Heroes.

NAPA is proud of our 85 year heritage and so we find it a perfect fit to celebrate our Independence this July with an event that will honor and support the brave men and women of our armed forces.  We are privileged to partner with the Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund to commemorate our great nation and those who fight for our freedom.  Let’s take a minute to learn about the Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund.

  • Established in 2000
  • Provided close to $120 million in support for the families of military personnel lost in service to our nation, and for those severely wounded in performance of their duty in Afghanistan and/or Iraq
  • In 2007, opened a world-class physical rehabilitation center at Brooke Army Medical Center in San Antonio, Texas
  • In 2010, opened the National Intrepid Center of Excellence (NICoE) on the Navy campus in Bethesda, Maryland for the research, diagnosis and treatment of Traumatic Brain Injuries (TBI), post-traumatic stress (PTS) and related injuries sustained by military personnel
  • The Fund’s current efforts are focused on the design and construction of two NICoE Satellite Centers, one located at Ft. Belvoir, Virginia and one at Camp Lejeune, North Carolina.  These sites will enable military personnel to receive state-of-the-art treatment for TBI and PTS in connection with the main NICoE center located in Maryland

As you can see, the Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund is a first-class organization doing honorable work for the care and support of our injured military heroes and their families.  We hope you’ll agree that it is NAPA’s honor and privilege to align ourselves with an organization such as the Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund.
